Michael A. Murphy
Brother Michael A. Murphy (“Brother Aloysius”)
Age 74, died at home in Springfield, VA on February 5, 2018, after a long struggle with ALS. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ann Marie (Castagnaro) Murphy, and his son, Michael A. Murphy.
He became a brother in Phi Kappa Theta in the spring of 1962 and graduated from Seton Hall University in 1965. He then graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1969 (JD) and in 1973 (LLM). After law school he became a Special Agent in the FBI, and was admitted to the NJ, DC, and VA state bars. He eventually formed the Murphy Law Group and practiced until retiring in 2016.
His faith, serenity, and fortitude in the face of his illness inspired everyone he met.

Rest in peace, faithful friend and Brother Michael Aloysius Murphy.
